Atlantic Bacterial Water Treatments contain benign naturally occuring bacteria present in ponds, lakes and streams. The only difference between natural colonies of bacteria and the safe, non-toxic formulas in our bacterial products are the concentrations. Atlantic's bacteria are measured in Colony Forming Units (CFU) with the least potent concentration equal to 1 billion CFU's per gram. That means in every pound of our highly concentrated formulas there are at least 450 billion bacteria ready to safely clean and clear the water in your water feature.
